sorry for the delay folks! am going to make it up to y'all with 4 delicous posts! =D


Here's what happened the past one week :

Chinese New Year Eve:

reunion dinner with the family tree! =D with all the yi ma gu jie =P
as usual, girls do something they are best at: picture session!

i adore my dress!



okay,seriously,i have no idea what my hair was trying to suggest ==|

couzzies! i forced her to take this one...*grins* sleepy eyes again! WTH~
yee sang! for prosperity, longevity and health! sorry cow foo, ur the background in this pic~
and this too! this dish is the yin yang chicken.. i assumed yin yang are complete opposites. it puzzles me why both are deep fried.

had our reunion dinner at Gee Ann Restaurant. the food's so-so, though I dont particularly like the sharkfin soup (or broth?). it is a little too mild for my liking. then my cow mou (aunt) [purposely put the cow cos its moo moo year!] added some vinegar for me. too sour now! aiks
the four happiness(or whatever it is called) is quite sumptuous.

chicken (too oily and crispiness gone). otherwise,everything's edible..lol...as usual, chinese pancakes(with the kaya filling) and cold dessert (tong sui) as the final dishes...

went home,watched the MERSEYSIDE DERBY ....aww liverpool drew! grr hate it when they draw...complete frustration! gah


1st day of CNY (chor yat)
Miss Turning to obese *argghhh*

let the angpows flow! lol woke up quite late due to fatigue and

depression from watching the merseyside derby..

reached popo (grandma)'s house at about 2.30 pm...everybody's eaten except us..as usual..

ate the must-have "zai choi" , Hakka style with lots of "lam yu" (the red thingy) .

received the 1st round of angpows *hehehehe* *bows with lots of arigatou*

came back home with my cousin in tow..elder ..not younger..i made it sound like she's younger than me..

watched the devil wears prada..now if the devil wears prada..then i'm bound to be a future devil! =X

dinner , same venue..different dishes..the traditional bak zham kai (white chicken?lol) and siu yuk (roasted pork?) were the dishes that greeted our hungry stomachs...

2nd day of CNY (chor yee)

went to dai cow mou's and dai cow foo's house to bai nin~ i'm using a huge chunk of cantonese here!

with my couzzie u'll never catch ur breath. lol. its either shopping, swimming or movies.

this time its movies. madagascar 2. the move it is infectious!

definitely a LOL movie..especially the scene where the giraffe(issit?) expressed his undying love for the female hippo. "Gloria,i've always loved u!" with the "sau nga" effect when their plane was plummeting towards disaster.

borrowed brokeback mountain from her...heath ledger(RIP) is so dashing! omg those deep eyes of his..jake gyllenhaal is not bad too...

3rd day of CNY (chor sam)

my brand new roxy bag! look at how it shines! =D luv it to the max

went to mid valley to buy a bag(with no particular brand/shape/pattern/size) in mind. ended up stumbling upon this roxy bag and fell in love with it at 1st sight!

arrived slightly late(haha will try to change this habit) at rose's house . my buddies have finished their dinner and was chatting with joshua..the psychology dude...i joined them...then rose waited for me to finish my dinner..and then the round of card games started! rose's mum was the banker..we played blackjack,heart attack...didn't play cho dai di thou. its one of my fav. as our punishment (if we exceed 21 for blackjack), we have to drink alcohol! all sorts..absolut vodka, whisky, even red wine! i drank whisky plus soda(joshua told me it was kinda diluted). no wonder it tastes nice. lol. maybe my taste buds was detecting soda taste all the time and I thought whisky was that nice to drink! steph and min yee disliked the vodka..

sarah, rose's friend brought her mac book and invited us for an "exclusive" photoshoot session lol. really cool! all the effects plus the energy, creativity and enthusiasm of us girls made the pictures look great. sarah has yet to add me on facebook so getting my hands on the pictures will take some time. =(

then there was an excursion to the park lol. me, steph, min yee, rose(in drunk state), sarah, joshua, andrew,rose's bro and bicycle =D and a few other unknowns. haha.

proven drunk: rose fooling with the monkey bars.she was swinging back and forth and doin chin-ups.rose?doing chin-ups?!

then the other adults were also playing like they've gone back on a time machine to babyland...xD

maybe they were all drunk lol..

went back at 11 +....luckily for me I'll only start work at 3 the next day.

major hangover the next day. =/

6th day of CNY (chor luk)

wore my "i love rock and roll" tee to steph's open house.kinda casual as I was braced for some playtime? lol

ok we went crazy yesterday. played blackjack(again) with steph's relatives,including her uncle who was really cute..haha cute as in the old cute! =D

then rose came up with a game called King..where the rules are..

another major hangover today! seems like I was one of the walking dead at work today...

I thereby proclaim Carlsberg banned from any of our gatherings! lol =D
