continuing from where i stopped to have my dinner...
the session started at 10 am, with the MPs and the Speaker standing up and reciting some prayer or something..i only heard ya allah..><
then it started with a minister, i forgot who..he began his debate with the 'keamanan' issue..i was like..*rolls eyes* oh god..this is so typical karangan SPM style..
luckily, they quickly moved on to something about mrrsm...something about a school for those money-deprived brilliant students..if 3A 2B in UPSR is what u call brilliant..
and then one of the opposition asked the minister whether non-bumiputeras were allocated more than 10% of the places in the school..and then the minister spoke..he's from barisan nasional..and then the barisan people were all thumping their tables in agreement, at 1st we were like, why are they thumping the tables? thats a little rude...
later we found out that since clapping ur hands is not allowed in the dewan rakyat, u have to thump the table instead..talk bout manners...=.=
anyways..after the MP spoke, few MPs stood up simultaneously..very perasan..like michelle..and the speaker only chose one to voice out his/her question..and then sometimes when a MP was speaking, there were two or three voices taunting them, so this makes it hard for us to actually hear what they are trying to point out..
and did i mention that we were not allowed to bring our cameras and gadgets in? if we are allowed to, we would have got a good view of the dewan rakyat..
the architecture is stunning..i like the tainted glass especially..
we sat there for about almost 1 hour..our butts were getting sore..and there was little leg room for us..i swear if a mat salleh ever come to witness the session, he/she will not be able to fit into the seat...THE SEAT IS STRICTLY NOT FOR TALL PERSONS...considering im not tall..i too have difficulty in placing my leg..
part 3 to come soon...long storytelling..xD
