predictions, anyone?

last week, me and my buddy-o steph made a list of predictions of part time jobs after spm for my classmates [too much leisure time xP]

Predictions: Part-time jobs after SPM

1. Audrey [that's me!]

Prediction: being me, all that comes into my mind are clothes! yep u name it, i'll do it! any clothes store except for er....maternity clothes, aunty clothes, traditional clothes..and baby clothes..sorry but i dont expertise in babywear. pfft.

Pros: u get an employee's discount ! for example, in padini, u get 30% off!
Cons: u have to put up with irritating, demanding customers and stand whole day long in heels so that your feet gets blisters.

2. Stephanie [my partner-in-crime]

Predictions: probably a candy store or chocolate shop .why? she just seems like the right person, with the right "height", right "built", right "voice"..(imagine mousey voice) to handle those whiny kids! well.. on second thought, not all sweet shop customers are kids, are they?

Pros: u can even nick some sweets when no one's noticing! yum!
Cons: erm. business will be slow. dont fall asleep!

3. Min Yee

Predictions: Food and tea waitress . or wong kok char chan teng. either one. She agrees with our idea too! imagine sweet min yee with her nice smile serving u iced-blended, well, what i can say is..the customers will love her smile! maybe she uses colgate? =P

Pros: well, not sure what the advantages are. maybe to meet some leng zais? [that's her objective]
Cons: hello, ur a waitress. which means u have to serve people. which includes one-of-a-kind customers. u know what i mean.

4. Kha Hoi

Predictions: No idea why but it just looks fitting for her to work in Popular Bookstore! not MPH or kinokuniya but only Popular. she won't be pleased though, popular uniforms come in red! [psst..she likes green]

Pros: erm. well. gain more knowledge??
Cons: er....lets see. none that i can think of.

5. Michelle[Jek Yuen]

Predictions: Oh pls dont shoot me! i know my prediction skills are terrible...but this is just the right job for u. oh my what a sadist am I. well, the job that suits her perfectly is the one in the jusco supermarket handling out samples to the patrons!

Pros: er. u can sample one yourself too! or maybe nick the whole box!
Cons: u have to be persuasive, which means u need to have good oratory skills, which ..errrr....

6. Yvonne

Predictions: GSC ticketer [the one at the ticket booth] or Manga Shop manager. [alternative: comic shop]. yvonne just has a craving for manga! no better place like heaven in a manga shop for this manga fan! but..on second thought, GSC ticketer would also look good on her resume. xD

Pros: err...the ticketer..well..u dont have to move around, u have a chair to sit on...for the manga shop, u have loads of manga to browse through!

Cons: for the ticketer, boring job. not much talking. not much moving around. tight space for working. for the manga shop, maybe reading too much manga may put u out of job(if the manager catches u readin)

7. Rose

Predictions: well for rose, it would be best if she works at Girls, or Miss T or miss whatever. dunno why. just that she's so girlish, she fits the atmosphere there.

Pros: wow.imagine! surrounded by pink! and girlish stuff!
Cons: well, u have to stand. and look GOOD standing.

8. Kar Lin

Predictions: World of cartoons for two main reasons, 1st, she coo over babies and 2nd, she loves pooh!

Pros: there are plenty of cute babies and kids to coo over for her.
Cons: u just spotted this really cute dress with ribbons but there are no adult sizes here. bummers and more bummers.

9. kah Yerng

Predictions: Eu Yan Sang . why? i don't know, must be because she smell of ginseng! mwahahas. jokin. her family owns a "york choi pou" , which sells those traditional chinese medicine, this would be the perfect internship for her. [if she ever thinks of inheriting the family business]

pros: u know almost every single thing in the shop.
Cons: lets just say that ginseng doesn't smell that good. and so do the other herbs.

well, folks, i can 't complete the whole list of jobs, so just a few major ones i wrote down, sorry~
