What does a school do to honour top students every year?
************************************************************************************
well this is what they did :

approximately 1.00 pm, Jusco Cheras Selatan:
while I was busy clicking away , Kar Lin asked an intriguing question..why do girls like to snap pictures in the TOILET? yes that definitely got my mind into gear.. i replied her by suggesting that there are mirrors everywhere in the toilet? haha and while we're taking photos we could perhaps check our reflection in the mirror?
the guys were totally not on time. blah their punctuality. even i was more punctual than them. =P to kill time,we headed for the bookstore..i grabbed a copy of seventeen...i either read the tabloids or fashion mags like cleo, seventeen...i should have bought cleo..its thicker..=P but loaded with more ads i guess...there's one feature on seventeen that really tempted me to buy it.. "Hot Legs in 3 weeks!" now thats exactly what I desperately need now..a slim pair of legs..
after the guys came, went to pizza hut for lunch..kah yerng was groaning about her rumbling stomach..
candid.
they look like a pair,dont they? =P
yakking away till the cows come home.
chatter,gossip,laughter
LAWL kah yerng..what are u demanding?
a group photo.
i was itching for a k-session but seeing as how late is it already, we opted for a movie.
at 1st the name of the movie gave me an impression that its one of those movies where bullets go astray and people are sacrificed like cows. but hell no ,turns out to be a kick of a movie. pretty nice. its in japanese but there are english and malay subtitles. i just love how the japanese communicate. so adorable! takeshi kaneshiro still as HOT as ever.
on the way to the restaurant in kar lin's suzuki swift.
Forgot-whats-the-name-of-the-restaurant Restaurant:
let the steamboat session begin!
jaren grins alot~
kar lin's gone ALL red while choking.

Girls Just Wanna..
Shop for cute adorable dresses. Teehee
Had a sleepover as planned on Friday nite at my couzzie's house. We were chatterboxes as usual, blabbing until midnight and then watched The House Bunny where I laughed my head off. Anna Faris was perfect as the dumb bimbo blondie "Playmate" Shelley. With the accent and lack of general knowledge, she sure made me amused.
Woke up next morning feeling focused although a lil' tired. (well, focused cos I'm about to go shopping!xD) showered quickly as couzzie NEVER FAILS to complain about my lack of clever time management. (i know, i know,i'm slowly improving on it ). If i'm late,I will probably read the words "Your lateness annoys me" on her forehead. haha.
Turns out she slept till 11 something, much later than the time she promised that she will wake up. I was trying hard not to be annoyed by her, as u can see I MADE THE EFFORT to wake up early so I dont have to be rushed by her later. Finally she woke up*phew*.
posing while waiting for couzzie to wake up from her slumberland
Had a quick bite, then it was off to Tropicana City Mall in PJ. Its not a really big mall, but still bigger than Jusco Cheras Selatan ,which is plain B-O-R-I-N-G. My 1st impression of the mall was , hey its quiet and sophisticated. I like the way its furnished, giving me a "cool" effect. plus, i dont like to shop in some mall where you have to jostle your way through (like sg. wang but surprisingly I still go there sometimes as some of the clothes, you just have to get it from there). I prefer to avoid the shopping crowd. I think because its a weekday, there are no SALES and the mall is kinda new.
i followed the seatbelt rule! =D of cos lah front seat passenger
eh why moderately tall people like me look short, but short people can look tall?
i love this photo..alot
Couzzie whisked me off to Paperdoll Boutique, its a cute dainty, girly boutique that clearly only caters to girls who love dresses. as far as I knew, there were no pants there whatsoever. ALL Dresses and some frilly skirts and blouses.
Cuteness emanates from the closets as I slowly pick through the dresses one by one, taking in the small little details and left spoilt for choice. This is my ultimate dream closet!
Due to my stupid flabby and CHAR SIEW arms, I had to eliminate some SUPER CUTE dresses from my list.Gahhh. zzzzz
going back to kindergarten?
i look like a GUNNY SACK
resembles something from Party Princess(the shop that sells cute dresses for kids..)
in the end i bought this:
can be worn like this or with a belt. [the high-waist effect..love it!]
my hair is gettin brownier and brownier each day...haha i have the privilege to not dye my hair! =D
my couzzie took me to kitschen next, but NO MORE SALES! *bummer* saw a few pieces that i like but didn't bring enough cash....hmm.maybe next time?
something caught couzzie's eye while we were passing through bossini..guess what?a special collection of sesame street t-shirts were on sale at 39 per piece! (NP:RM 79 approx)
my couzzie 's a HUGE fan of elmo..did I spell it correctly?she has elmo on her lappie bag..haha and its adorable. since I need a long tee to match with my skinnies, I bought one elmo t shirt which proclaims(what else?) I Love Elmo..or was it elmo loves me? haha forgotten..
ate our lunch at "remember to eat" (Gei Dak Sek) SS2, Peejay. nothing much in their menus,so I just ordered a yong chow fried rice and couzzie opted for congee. mango loh as dessert.
makes my waist look smaller. hehehe *grins*
rushed back home to attend Chak Kai Koong Kon's annual dinner. My mum's a Hakka, her roots originating from a village called Chak Kai in China. I received some form of incentive for my SPM results...the dinner was at Restoran Hee Lai Toong, Wisma Shaw.
as a result, missed the liverpool vs blackburn game..what a cracker! two superb goals..and my idol scored..what a happy day...the only damper was man u scoring a late win over sunderland...grrrrr

miss u
khong pui teng turned up at my working place today and gave me a shock but a pleasant one :)
i was eating dinner as usual with my colleagues, pei sin and evone...
some gossipping after dinner..haha..then voila! heard someone call my name in a very "demanding" way (imagine mothers calling their sons after they broke the vase or something). "Audrey Tey!"
i looked up and saw the familiar figure of khong pui teng standing beside me. holding a keychain. with my name engraved on it. so touched! T.T (haha dramatic effect)
she said she went to bali..and she missed me..(still misses me now =P) well she didn't confess entirely la,but hinted indirectly..u know she loves her face too much what..just like someone else =P
"when can i see u again?" she asked with puppy eyes effect
*not gonna fall for that trick as steph used to trick me,unsuccessfully with the puppy eyes. i have NO MERCY. haha*
"oh, REAL awards" i replied
"i really wanna go and see u take that award"
"why not?nobody's stoppin u "
*my sarcastic self again*
chatted for awhile, then she went off. seriously, i also miss her alot. i miss her coming up to kacau me everyday after lunch..and the way she always say my full name and I always say hers..
i'm fortunate to have some friends who drop by sometimes to visit me at my workin place and made my day.. :)
kar lin (twice,we chatted non-stop-as usual), steph and von(on valentines day, really made my day cos yvonne dint make me feel alone ,gave me ferrero rocher somemore *jumps up and down like a kiddo*), choon yik (with kar lin ,and then he wanted to work there, but too bad,no place for him at that time), KHONG PUI TENG of cos...and many other surians that went there..

life is a blur.
life is a blur when you're working. when college isn't around the corner(one more month to go). when u haven't met up with ur friends for a long time . when the only tool of communication is SMS, Msn and Facebook. when they are no special events to attend.
I don't find working life satisfying. In fact, I wonder why some people rush to enter their working life?Working is about doing the same old boring stuff everyday. (well ,my current job la) High school is the best. We live like ourselves, we play like ourselves, and we are ourselves. After high school, people change, relationships change, backgrounds change, scenarios change. The whole world that revolves around u in high school changes.
Enter college, assignments, projects and whatever crap eats up your time. Less communication.
Less play and more work . Makes us a dull human being.
Well, i'm being metaphoric here.
I was recently introduced to one concept by my supervisor, Jason. He said that it is estimated that a person can make up to 250 acquaintances throughout his/her lifetime,be it distant or close relationships. Thus if we (the service staff) offend one customer, we will indirectly offend 250 potential or existing customers. I found it very true.
Throughout your whole life, u might even know more than 250 people. just look at your friends list in facebook or whatever social networking website. However, when u reach the age of 60, how many of them can u really keep close to u? maybe only family members and VERY CLOSE friends. how bout those estranged family members?and what bout those high school classmates, college buddies, uni friends? so in the end, u've made more than 250 acquaintances, but only a few have remained by your side throughout the years. So, treasure the people around u and keep them close to u. U might not be able to make 250 remember you, but if u can preserve your relationship with 50 people til you're old,its commendable.

received the offer letter from TARC. this means I'm officially a TARC student. looking forward to being a part of the college community. I hope my subjects aren't that tough. Well , I shouldn't kid myself, should I? I have a sample of the Maths A-level paper. It consists of 7 papers (i think) that u can do either in AS level, Advanced level or both. That's only Maths. I don't even want to think bout Further Math. *crosses fingers*
Haven't made up my mind to join which society. wat the heck .i've not even gone thru the orientation yet. why think bout eca?
Yet their lists of sports just make my mouth water.
Tennis (something I've always wanted to pick up)
Basketball (something I've always been fond of)
Swimming (something I've done all my life)
Badminton(something that I find relaxing)
Football (for entertainment purposes only)
Squash (er, I dont like hitting at walls =P)
Volleyball? ( well volleyball is fun, but it makes my hands swell..=.=)

I saw something like uniform bodies..and I'm not a fan of uniform bodies. joined st john ambulance in junior..never joined another uniform body since..
Chinese society? not my cup of tea?
photography?? =.=
music? (maybe,worth a try)
why no dance club???(not sure bout that, maybe their website isn't completely up-to-date)
Christian?(sorry i'm not one)
gonna stop working end of this month. course commences on 11 May. the 9 days before my course starts( assume that 10 May i'm resting at home...anticipating the big day..=D), I'm gonna go on a shopping spree! yay!
