I know I have abandoned u in the past, but lets reconcile,shall we? =) The holidays are coming and I'll be devoted to spending precious time with u. I will fill u to the brim with many joyous tales and of cos those good ol' pictures. 1st I will tell you about the wonderful bbq night , and then serenade you with the cupcake story. Last but not least, you can be sure that I will tell u about the crazy day we had celebrating one of our SN10rians farewell and early birthday.

Hmm, where to start 1st? Ohmygod. Luckily Seng Seng & Calvin posted the photos on facebook, or i will be minced meat trying to upload all those pics! :D credits to both of them. =)

1st Oct : Seng Seng's birthday at Greenbox, Sungei Wang.

okayy. i couldn't exactly remember the details vividly. but...i'll try my best to give a good account of what happened that day. otherwise, u can always have a good look at those pics. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. well, lets see. It was a thursday. And class ended early. So off we went to Sungei Wang, in 3 cars i think. Reached there before 2 pm, headed straight to greenbox, dont wanna waste any precious time since some of us have to leave at 4 pm, in particular me, as I had to attend a SWC meeting. There were about 16-20 people attending Seng's birthday celebration..OMG seng seng ur popular! haha xD well, in honour of our birthday boy here, we sang mostly ENGLISH songs on that day. fine by me. =D After a while, everyone was so engrossed in karaoke..until....all of a sudden, the Birthday song appeared on the screen and Happy Birthday to u blared out of the speakers. haha xD seng seng was kinda surprised that time...his expression was a mixture of blurness, elation & helplessness. LOL happy rite Seng Seng? oh and the funny part was,when we were doing the cantonese or mandarin version( dont know which one), the music stopped. Everyone was laughing so hard, and u guys should check out the pic where everyone's laughing, but u can spot two girls throwing their heads up and laughing SUPER HARD! thats TING & YING HUI! xD seng seng brought his camera so it was a pic fest too~ ting ting was doing most of the capturing ~ At about 4 pm, me, Ying Hui, Kam, Wilfred & Seng Seng left. thanks seng seng for fetchin me back to TARC =). I heard from Aaron that they had a lil food fight after we left,which resulted in everyone being smeared with cream, and Ting had a large stain of MILO on her shirt. LMAO

3rd Oct, Penny's Birthday Celebration at Times Square:

Zhi Hui had planned to throw Penny a surprise celebration, so he told her that only 3 people were free on that day to accompany her. Little did she know that 8 SN10rians were waiting eagerly to pounce on her once she comes! xD We sure caught her by surprise! Zhi Hui also gave her 3 ferrero rochers as her "birthday gift" before reaching TS. After that we ambushed her with a larger present....a PIG! xP . Just like you, Penny. =D Played at the arcade for a lil while, I love the arcades...its like a playground..even for "grown-ups" like me... xD Settled down at Uncle Duck's for lunch. Steamboat + Roasted duck. The fun thing about steamboat is that u get to eat and make jokes about it at the same time. There were many jokes...trust me, including the "bean-curd" (tau fu) one. The roasted duck, well was okay for me. however my judge got ment cannot be taken too seriously as I'm not a frequent duck-eater. =/ By the time we finished our lunch, it was already 3 something. Penny & I were the only girls that day, too bad. We could have taken sticker photos! >< the guys weren't too enthusiastic about that idea. FINE. Penny, next time we WILL take sticker photos okay? Went home at about 5, showered and headed to my grandma's house for Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. mmm. i love the snow-skin mooncakes. xD

6th Oct , Calvin's Birthday Celebration at Old Town :

Thanks to James's prompt announcement about celebrating Calvin's birthday at Old Town the day before, we could not ambush him with a surprise. Nevertheless , it was still a fun birthday celebration..the 3rd one in 6 days! Whew~*picturing bank notes flying away* haha xD its the SN10r tradition to have breakfast together every tues, seeing as how our class only starts at 10 am... After breakfast, some of the guys started saying that we should leave since we wouldn't want to be late for econs tutorial..*ehem* . haha some people commented that calvin looked disappointed when they said it. All of a sudden, a cake appeared in front of him. LOL. i think we sang the birthday song quite loud. SN10r spirit. LOL.

Kawan-kawanku

Before the Hari Raya holidays, if i'm not mistaken, it was a Fri, Kar Lin texted me and asked me out. (haha sounds like a date or something). she wanted to meet up with junn lym cos long time never chat already. ( we used to be the basketball gang that met up every fri! ><). okay, so the original plan was to have a game or two of bowling before makan. Mana tahu the weather decided to cancel our bowling game (hmmph) . Cos it was raining that time, and according to the club workers, bowling games are not allowed when it's raining. so fine, off we went to susan's for dinner. stomach grrr-ing already. Susan's, Kar Lin's fav hangout. She says the tiramisu there is the best! =/ yeah,whatever. haha. but they do serve pretty good food. If you're wondering what cuisine they specialise in, its ITALIANO. my ..er lets just simplify its name. espresso. with vanilla ice-cream

pizza tropicana-something. the pizza's not that nice, not crispy and feels kinda wet. the crust is thin too.
KL's bro ordered this..forgot whats the name too..but definitely enticing my taste-buds now... ><


Went over to JL's crib, he was supposed to go to a friend's birthday party ,but ended up not going O.o . So we decided to play darts. And I sucked at them! @@ seriously, the darts were flying everywhere like stray bullets! Most of them hit the walls, the I-dont-know-what-else and KL almost hit her bro's leg with one! *shudder*

Played darts for a short while only since JL was afraid that we would spoil his darts...(not a surprise given the way we throw them). He gave us a mini tour of his house, slacked a bit around and then we walked around his garden. Finally went home at about 11 pm. it was nice to catch up with old friends.

Sunday, i think it was National Independence Day

Another outing with my BFFs. movie time. G-force. haha i'm writing short sentences. The typical Disney movie. What else can I say?

There happened to be a promotional activity for Green Box on that day, therefore free memberships were offered to the shoppers. Michelle & I signed up for the member card, since we are both sing-k enthusiasts . Other than that, they also gave us another freebie~ a free one head charge voucher. I'm not sure thats the correct way to say it, but thats what they printed on the voucher =.=. Saw lots of surians there..KL too invited me to watch G-force with her but I had already made plans with the BFFs. next time kay? =) Went to the Curve with my parents after that.

is this book newly-released? ohmygawddddddddiiiieee....i want it so badly! wonder if they have it in MPH or kinokuniya or borders yet? Who wanna volunteer to buy it for me? :P anyway if anyone who had come across this book in MALAYSIA kindly drop me a comment and tell me where is it! :D

okay. gosh i'm dead bored while waiting for the girls to send over the book review thingy *fell asleep and spilled saliva all over the place...NOT! * so i decided to clear the bulk of updates in my storeroom(blogger speak: drafts). Yeah, just like the Home Ministry clearing out their boxes of "citizenship applications" . oh, suddenly my task seems alot easier. xD

Went to The Curve on the 1st day of hari raya. the roads.whew. we were cruising thru the roads! haha. but soon, we'll be stuck in the dreadful JAM as USUAL....

yeah, one thing cool bout the Curve is that they have a blend of like bazaar-style and high-end trendy boutiques. bazaar style, of course, refers to the bazaars itself la! :P so, if you dont mind making purchases without trying them on 1st (which is a necessity to me most of the time, seeing as how I'm not an S, XS or XSSS -if they have this size.), the bazaars would be a great place to shop. plus, u could also bargain (though i know i suck at this). There're quite alot of affordable and NICE(as in the appearance, not necessarily referring to the quality) items on sale in the bazaars...such as...

BIKINIS! ooh dont they look nice. especially the one on display. makes me wanna dive into the ocean! :D they're of cos ,better than the ones in pasar malam. i doubt the pasar malam at my place sells that.

After taking in some fresh air outside, proceeded to explore the inside of the mall. I always have a stronger urge to remain somewhere equipped with air-conditioning. Haha. Totally unenvironmental-friendly.
ignore my sleepy eyes. i'm don't know what 12 hours of sleep did to my eyebags. aggravate them? pfft.

Daddy suggested Marche for our dinner. He went there once, with his colleagues for a gathering.
We just happily tag-along lah.
They even teach you how to pronounce their name. better do that or not u will have some customers mispronouncing your famous name. "Neh, i went to that what ah. Mah-she ah! u never heard before meh? very famous wan ahh. " or worse case scenario: " Eh, u know that day my husband brought me to that restaurant. Curve lah! What name ar? err.. neh, Mar Cher! Expensive wan u know the food there?"

Haha i swore I almost spotted gesundheit! but then, this is a swiss restaurant. not german.
reminds me of a supermarket.-.- which is exactly what the owners of this restaurant want u to picture in mind. marche after all ,stands for THE MARKET PLACE.

9 bucks for a sausage. is it german? LOL. dip it in mushroom sauce. to be honest, i dint find anything special bout this sausage. therefore,not worth the 9 bucks.
one of the favs in here. rosti. mm. comes with sour cream and half-cooked bull's eye. you can choose from a combination of toppings for your rosti. by the way rosti is a potato dish. at 1st glance, it looks like yucky onions to me. i was almost furious at my dad for ordering my worst nightmare(dish) when I'm beginning to soak up the wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant. My dad was like? what onions? potatoes lahhh. mm and it turned out to be tasty......wouldn't refuse a 2nd helping xD
Roasted Half-chicken. RM 16.90. Mashed potatoes. RM 1.50. mashed potatoes always make me drool. this one did. not the usual powdery one. this one ? full with small chunks of potatoes. plus black pepper sauce? YUMMEH

walked around after dinner. saw one shirt in momoe that i've been hunting for all year long....and what the hell, alas, I could not get my hands on it. After I tried the shirt, mana tau the salesgirl run away to some lala land. And I wanted another size. so.urgh. have to come back another day. But, on the bright side, got myself two giordano tees. Yes,i'm lack of tees. My coll mates are already branding me "superwoman" because of the Supergirl tee i frequently wear to coll. Again, its SUPERGIRL! dont make me sound so old. =/
